One of the Myriad Gods who once served Tsukuyomi. She is very knowledgeable and, despite her looks, is quite old. Sakuya's sacrifice took a heavy toll on her, mentally, so she secluded herself at Kagamidukuribe Village.
The eldest son of the King of Izumo, Susanoo. He's very handsome, is a smooth talker, and is rumored to be quite the ladies man. He took an interest in Kaguya, and decided to help her on her journey.
The King of Izumo. He is Ookuninushi's father. He is an invincible hero who turned Izumo into a powerful nation in a single generation. Once the nation became larger, he started focusing on developing the economy and technology, rather than the military. At his current age, some people don't think he is as strong as he once was.
A handmaiden in the service of Izumo. She looks after Ookuninushi, and deals with his female troubles on a daily basis. She is one of the Myriad Gods, but rumor has it she is kind of a klutz.
A tanned sea captain from Itsukushima who is known as the Warrioress. She fought alongside Susanoo during the previous war, and has a spectacular war record. She now controls the territory between Itsukushima and Munakata.

Issun is Ookuninushi's ally. He is a Myriad God who has been wandering the country to accumulate knowledge on various subjects. He is a man of very few words, so it takes a lot of skill and assumptions to understand him.

A born miner who runs the mine at Ooe Mountain. Because of her looks, she has been bullied ever since she was young. Due to that, she has a biased opinion about the world. Kaguya and Kintaro swayed her, and she gradually opened up to them.
A dancing maiden who serves the independent nation of Saga in Kyushu. She's an enthusiastic dancer whose skills can mesmerize any man. It seems like she's forming her own vigilante group to protect Saga.
The man who runs the ironmaking organization, Oni Flow. He manages the Tataraba at Ibuki Mountain. He used to be a nice man, but lately, he's been treating the villagers very harshly.

A Myriad God that represents the mountain. It grew angry because the mountains were being destroyed, and all the trees were being chopped down. It lost its sanity and became a Tatarigami.
A Myriad God that represents Mount Aso. It appears before Kaguya and her companions when Aso is rumbling. It was angry because of Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and Susanoo's past actions, and turned its rage toward Kaguya.
A giant Myriad God that rules the Hii River. The attack it unleashes from its eight heads are each destructive individually, and can annihilate the party.
